Trello

If you’ve been in business for longer than 5 minutes, you’ve probably heard of Trello, even if you don’t quite know what it does.

Trello is a Project Management Tool, and is the #1 tool I use to organize my business.

I keep just about everything related to my business in Trello, from workflows, to yearly, quarterly, and monthly goals, to my daily to-do list. Even some of my client-related stuff goes in Trello!

Basically, anything I need on the back-end of my business is housed in Trello for easy access.

While Trello isn’t a typical automation tool like the other items on this list, it not only is a great way to keep everything biz-related at your fingertips, but it also offers a host of integrations (called Power-ups) that allow you to link Trello to a ton of other business systems!

It also has an amazing power-up called Butler for Trello that does allow you to enable some amazing automations within Trello itself!

And the best part? Unless you want to use more than one Power-up per board or upload your own backgrounds, Trello is absolutely free for unlimited boards and teams!

I could talk all day about how amazing Trello can be (and I talk more about how Trello works over here) but this tool is my favorite way to stay organized in my business and I definitely recommend trying it out!

Later

Ah, Instagram. The marketing tool that absorbs your time because it’s just so fun.

If you’re using Instagram for Business (and really, you should do it because of what I’m about to tell you), you can use insights to tell you when your audience is engaging with your content most. And that’s amazing, because it helps us factor that into our post scheduling. And that’s where Later comes in!

Later is an Instagram scheduler that helps you automate your social media. There are plenty of these on the market, but I personally love this platform and I’m gonna tell you why.

Later not only has the classic feed preview and the fairly new auto-poster and is free for up to 30 posts a month (and really, who even needs that much?), but it also has a Saved Captions feature that’s handy for saving your hashtag groups, a hashtag search that allows you to see whether the hashtag your using is even worth using, and an auto-scheduler that allows you to set time slot templates that repeat every week, so all you have to do is drag your images to the top of the browser window and it will drop it in the next scheduling slot that you preset!

Let me tell you, I don’t wake up before 9:30 most days. But my audience does, and they love my content between 9 and 10. So being able to plug in my image, paste in my caption, add my caption in 2 clicks and forget about it is a serious lifesaver!

Try out Later. Do it for the ‘gram.
